The Wedding

On September 22, 2018 @ 3:00 pm, Son married Daughter-in-law and the world is now a better place.

The ceremony was held at the Bayfield Town Hall, in a wonderful little town on the shores of Lake Huron.  An incredible buffet dinner was served outside under the tent and music was provided by a live band. Incredible, beautiful, tear-drenched day. The weather was just right and there were so many wedding moments to remember.

They opted for photos to be taken near Lake Huron which was a perfect backdrop for the pictures.

Hub gave a speech as father-of-the-groom and we both participated in the ceremony by walking down the aisle along with the Bride’s parents.

It was also one of the longest times I have every gone without checking my phone.  When I did eventually, I discovered that two tornados that ripped through the Ottawa area and caused all kinds of devastation. Friends has checked out place and we were largely unaffected, but power was out for days in many areas and roads were covered in debris and fallen trees. Wow.
